An Herbal & Somatic Workshop for Nervous System Relief and Resilience
In a world that asks so much of our attention and energy, many of us are living in a near-constant state of nervous system activation. Chronic stress, anxiety, burnout, irritability, and sleep disruption are common signs of nervous system dysregulation, not of personal failure.
Nervous System Nourishment is a 2-hour experiential herbalism workshop designed to help you understand, regulate, and gently strengthen your nervous system using herbs, body awareness, and simple somatic practices.
This class is co-taught by Hannah Lazo, community herbalist and owner of Lazobota, and Courteney Malik, Licensed Massage Therapist and Master’s candidate at Colorado Chinese Medicine University.
Together, we’ll explore both the physiological and energetic dimensions of stress support.
In this class, you will learn:
An overview of nervous system states and how regulation or dysregulation may show up in daily life
How to use body awareness and intuition to identify where you need the most support
Grounding stretches and self-massage techniques to settle your system and shift stagnant energy
A detailed nervous system materia medica, including energetic qualities, medicinal actions, and guidance on blending herbs for personal nourishment
How to begin building your own herbal apothecary for stress relief and long-term resilience
This workshop is ideal for anyone seeking: herbal remedies for anxiety, natural stress relief, nervous system regulation, holistic mental health support, or embodied healing practices in community.
